M14Hoops is a youth basketball skills development company offering year- round basketball training, camps, and clinics, as well as private training and team training. M14Hoops is dedicated to teaching both transferable life and basketball skills to players in K-12th grade. Coach Anthony is the Director of Basketball Operation and Head Trainer

Born and raised in Kansas City, Anthony Woods’ journey through the sport has been marked by excellence and dedication. From his formative years at Park Hill South High School to his collegiate achievements, Anthony’s passion for the game has been unwavering.

He honed his skills on the court during his freshman year at Northeast Community College, before transferring to Northwest Missouri State University, where he truly left his mark. As a standout player for the Bearcats, Anthony earned numerous accolades, including being named to the prestigious MIAA All-Conference team. His leadership and talent were instrumental in securing three MIAA Conference championships and two MIAA Conference tournament championships. However, the pinnacle of his collegiate career came in his senior year when he helped lead the team to the 2017 NCAA DII National Championship, boasting an impressive 35-1 record.

Following his illustrious collegiate career, Anthony returned to his roots in Kansas City with a mission to give back to the sport that had given him so much. He embarked on a coaching and training journey, sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring players in the community.

As the head trainer, Anthony brings a wealth of experience, a winning mentality, and a genuine passion for the game to every session. His dedication to player development and his commitment to excellence continue to inspire the next generation of basketball stars in Kansas City and beyond.

Word from Anthony: Basketball has always been a passion of mine and I knew once I was done playing I would want to give back, be a positive role model, and help develop players skills. Here at M14 I am able to do just that.
